Born 3 months premature, this child had no name... Just Boy. Born with a rare lung disease, his parents wanting to give him a strong name, they decided on John. John Boy was born. This NYC based artist blends rock/pop/goth/dance to create his "dark pop" sound. Filled with raw emotion, sexual expression, sexy darks vocals, and edgy lyrics...he shines a blinding light on loneliness, comformity, fear and confusion. John Boy's first EP, "Space Junkie", a dance-heavy album with twisted humor but also depth, was produced by Shane Faber.
